Annual inspections are required by NFPA 10 and the Texas State Fire Marshal, but more importantly, they ensure reliability. Fire extinguishers are mechanical devices—pressure can drop, seals can weaken, and agents can settle over time. That’s why we also teach you how to perform the required monthly visual checks, so small issues are caught early—before they affect readiness.

Our priority is dependable protection. While some providers emphasize ongoing servicing and recharging, manufacturers commonly recommend replacement at 10–12 years to maintain reliability. When appropriate, we recommend replacement to provide newer equipment with manufacturer warranties (typically six years) and to reduce the risks and hidden costs of aging extinguishers.

Prospective team members begin with a self-guided assessment focused on integrity, service mindset, and mission alignment. We welcome firefighters, veterans, law enforcement professionals, and others called to serve.

Grace Under Fire is firefighter-founded, built around people-first fire safety education. We bring real fireground experience into every inspection, conversation, and training—always focusing on protecting lives first, then the spaces they occupy.

Early, appropriate extinguisher use can limit damage and prevent escalation. Once sprinklers activate or hose lines are deployed, water damage often exceeds fire damage—leading to longer recovery times and greater disruption to business operations.
